Nolan Gasser, PhD, helped shape the digital music revolution of the early 2000s through his seminal work as co-creator of Pandora Radio and architect of the Music Genome Project. His leadership in music technology continues today through his work in music AI on behalf of Google and YouTube. His pioneering contributions to genomic data and music classification have influenced a generation of innovators in the field. 

Dr. Gasser is the author of Why You Like It, a best-selling book on musical taste that was recently adapted into a PBS television special and is now being developed into a national concert tour. He is also an acclaimed composer and pianist whose concert and theater works, including The Secret Garden, are performed regularly around the world.
